The focused and enthusiastic team at Hastings Honda is headed up by Grant with 35 years experience in the motorcycle industry. Grant is an 'A' Grade technician and past manager of all departments in a motorcycle business. Grant’s exceptional people skills ensure our customers receive top service in all areas at Hastings Honda.
Torin Griffiths
Parts Manager
Torin is a qualified mechanic with over 15 years experience in Honda parts. He has a wealth of knowledge learnt through his own motocross riding, and his involvement with kid's racing. Torin spends a lot of his spare time Hunting or Sport Shooting!
Matthew Crothers
Service Manager
Matthew started part-time with the company in 2010 while completing a Certificate in Automotive Engineering at EIT. He has completed his Apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified mechanic. Matt has ridden motorcycles most of his life and enjoys competing in local motocross events and trail rides.
Jacob McKinley
Mechanic
Jacob has completed his apprentice training and is now a qualified Motorcycle Engineer. He prides himself on his works which really shows in his completed work! Being a mechanic doesn't just stop at the end of the working week. Jacob spends his spare time working on his rare collectable car, going above and beyond to make sure everything is pristine.
Peter Newland
Mechanic
Peter is one of our fully Qualified Mechanics. His passion for Road Bike's shows really shows in his work. When Pete isn't at work the only place he can be found is on one of his Awesome bikes. From adventure riding to spinning laps on the track, Pete's there!
Hadleigh Griffiths
Salesmen and Marketing
Hadleigh started after school working along side his father in the Parts department. After finishing his Parts and Accessories apprenticeship he moves sideways into a Salesman Role. Spending his whole life riding Dirt Bikes has helped him gain a lot of information. In his spare time Hadleigh enjoys working on his Rotary Car.
Tania Zachan
Office Manager
Tania joined the team to run all the important admin and background work. She has not only excelled at her job but has also kept the rest of in line! She has taken on more and more jobs while being here but has never missed a step! If Tania is not at work you'll find her spending time with her dog Keihin or supporting her husband at Speedway 1NZ.
Alex Corbishley
Apprentice Mechanic
Alex completed his Parts and Accessories apprenticeship and decided to further his learning and get on the tools. He is now apart of our workshop team and motoring through his Motorcycle engineering courses. In Alex's spare time you'll find him Hunting, 4WDing or riding one of his many Honda Dirtbikes!
Steve Goss
Mechanic
Steve joined us after missing being on the tools. He has slotted right in and is pumping through the work! He goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy and spends a lot of the time on the road and farm servicing. Steve's busy days don't just stop with work, He spends his spare time Hunting or Fishing from his boat!
Tristan Marsh
Parts Assistant
Tristan has joined the parts team and started his Parts and Accessories apprenticeship. His customer service skills and passion for Road Bikes is already showing. Tristan's pride and joy is his CBR650R that he has tastefully modified to enhance both looks and performance. Tristan enjoys getting out for weekend rides on his awesome Honda!
Jimmy Macken
Apprentice Mechanic
Jimmy has recently joined us after leaving school. He has a big desire to learn and give new things a go. So we have no doubt he will turn out a great mechanic! Jimmy is taken his new learned skills and applying it to his many projects vehicles at home, and if his not doing that he will be doing some 4WDing.
Jun Nisperos
Mechanic
Jun has recently joined us to work along side our mechanics. His can do attitude and attention to detail means he goes the extra mile for our customers. Jun is a passionate bowler scoring strike after strike, so bowling's now off the cards for the works-do as the rest of us know we will lose!
